My First Trip after Lockdown
Our first trip after the Lockdown, was to Metsovo. The town is located in Epeirus, in West Greece, and is a very popular destination for all the year.
Metsovo is well known for the culture, the traditional wooden art, the wines, and its cheeses.
I took those pictures during our two-days stay at the town.
The city was like waking from lethargy. In the central square children were playing happily and elderly were talking outside the church leaning on their sticks. On Sunday morning the seats of Aghia Paraskevi Church, were sparsely placed in the courtyard. A young man was praying outside the church.
Life is changed after Coronovirus, but the inhabitants look to the future with optimism from the 1160 meters altitude of their town!
